Although counseling individuals and couples is our bread and butter, Hopewell also partners with likeminded churches and organizations to sponsor events that are in our “wheelhouse.”

Friday Night Fight-Friday, February 5, 2016

This coming Friday, February 5, 2016, Irv will be speaking at an event called “Friday Night Fights” at Grace Evangelical Free Church in Fridley, MN. Friday Night Fights are an outreach of the men’s ministry at GEFC. As the name implies, they are held monthly every Friday night and center on a specific topic for which men must fight. This coming Friday Night Fight focuses on fighting for your sexual purity. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes dinner. The cost is $7.00 but don’t let money stop you from attending, there is financial assistance.  To make your reservation, call GEFC at 763-784-7199.  Grace Evangelical Free Church is located at:

Following dinner, Irv will speak on sexual purity and give an invitation to come forward, pray with a chaplain, and plant a white flag of surrender on purity hill at the foot of the cross. It should be a powerful evening!

Purity Boot Camp starts at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, 2/8, and runs each morning through Friday, 2/12. Led by trained lieutenants, Purity Boot Camp helps men count the cost of sexual purity. Topics covered include: how to treat women in your life, brain chemistry, how God views sex, and much more. It is an integral part of helping men become sexually pure.

Following Purity Boot Camp men are challenged to join Purity Platoons. Platoons are small groups of 8-12 men led by trained sergeants who meet weekly for 16 weeks. It is in a Purity Platoon that men make the changes in their lives to live in purity for a lifetime!
