INTRODUCTION

Does the Bible teach that there will be a world religion composed of other religions? If so, according to the Bible, who will lead this one world religion? What is the need for a one world religion? If all this is to come, how should Bible-believing Christians prepare? My daughter, Laura, and I addressed these questions in a recent podcast. Here is what we found out from our research:

1. What is the one world religion?

Laura gives us the definition. “The one world religion is a global belief system that is a medley of many different religions (Buddhism, New Age, Catholicism, Christianity, Mormonism, Islam) as well as occultic beliefs.”

2. Is it forming at the present time?

The answer is YES. The groundwork for a one world religion is being laid even as we speak. Here is what Laura discovered in her research: Many believe the Catholic church has the framework or the shell through which the one world religion will present itself:

• The word “catholic” means universal.  It means it belongs to everyone.
• The CC today and for at least the last 7-8 years has poured 100’s of millions of dollars into reaching out to every part of the world to pull people into a new version of the Catholic church. (See quote below from Cardinal Muller)
• Other leaders within the CC have seen this and are warning against it. (Cardinal Muller and Francis Mark Goring)
• In January 2020 at a Catholic Student Leadership Conference in Phoenix, Cardinal Muller warned, Calls for modernization demand that the church reject what it holds to be true for the sake of building a new religion of world unity. In order to be admitted to this Meta religion, the only price the church would have to pay is giving up her truth claim. No big deal, it seems, as the relativism dominant in our world anyway rejects the idea that we could actually know the truth and presents itself as a guarantor of peace between all world views and world religions. The post Christian society welcomes these efforts to reconstruct the church as a convenient civil religion. God who is eternal cannot be changed by the whims of society.
• Pope Francis, along with Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum, is a huge proponent of the one world religion.

• The one world religion is part of “The Great Reset” which replaces capitalism with socialism, nationalism with a one world government and seeks to make all people “equal” under one government…which will be under satanic rule.
• Leaders of the World Economic Forum, with representatives in nearly every country, are openly and actively pushing for a one world religion. 
• It is the Tower of Babel on steroids.  The World Economic Forum wants to dismantle the world as we know it now and re-make it “in its own image.” They are the gods who will govern the world, a very small group of people, under satanic influence, who will tell the rest of the world what to do, and, eventually, who they must worship.
• The World Economic Forum used COVID as an example of a catalyst used to seize control of all the world’s governments and bring them together into one entity.
• AI can already create symphonies in just 5-7 seconds, and Uval Herrari, spokesperson for Klaus Schwab, announced that AI will soon be able to generate a global religion.
• It is not hard to see how globalists would be able to program AI to determine who has received the mark of the beast and who has not.

Here is what Genesis 11:4-9 says concerning the Tower of Babel. “And they said, ‘Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name; lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” The goal of the Tower of Babel was to reach heaven where god is; as one people; all the people on the earth would worship a single god together. . .  a one world religion! The one world religion is the “rebuilding” of the Tower of Babel.

Regarding AI (artificial intelligence), here is what Revelation 13:11-18 says about the false prophet who, along with Satan and the Anti-Christ, form the unholy trinity. What will this image of the beast (Anti-Christ) be like? Probably a humanoid of the beast formed by AI. It will be capable of identifying all who do not worship the humanoid of the beast. The false prophet will execute all who do not bow down to the image or have the beast’s 666 mark. Remember Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego’s refusal to worship Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image (Daniel 3:14-18)? The Lord Jesus walked with them in the fiery furnace protecting them (Daniel 3:24-27)! This is an end times repeat of the Daniel 3 story!

• Man is basically born good. The Bible teaches in Romans 3:23-all have sinned.
• There are elements of every religion that are true and good, and we all just need to come together and agree to love and get along – embrace the commonalities of our beliefs and reject and ignore the differences. The Bible says in Acts 4:12 and John 14:6-that there is salvation in no other name but Jesus Christ.
• All are loved and included by God and will end up in heaven – gay/straight, Muslim/Jew/Mormon/Catholic/Buddhist/pagan/atheist. That is not what the Bible says. It declares in Revelation 20:11-15 that all those who are not in Jesus’ book of life are thrown into the lake of fire (Gehenna).

The one world religion rejects the truths of God’s word  that separate true Biblical Christianity from all other religions – namely that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, divine Word of God, that Jesus is God’s only son, fully God and fully human, who came to earth to die for our sins and rose again conquering sin/death/hell and that salvation is only possible through repentance of our sin and faith in Jesus Christ as the ONLY way to be reconciled to God the Father.

1. Stay close to Jesus through continual prayer/conversation with the Lord and daily Bible study so the Holy Spirit can help you decipher truth from lies. Romans 12:2 – “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
2. Surround yourself with like-minded, discerning believers who can also see the lies so you can encourage each other and fight the deception, which will intensify as the end draws near. Hebrews 10:24-25 – “And let us consider one another in order to str p love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
3. Even though their eyes and ears are veiled, continue to pray for and boldly share the Gospel with loved ones and those around you who do not yet know Jesus as Savior. II Peter 3:9 –“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” II Corinthians 4:3,4 –“And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God.”
4. Take comfort in knowing these things must happen before Christ returns. As long as we, the church, are here, the Holy Spirit is restraining evil and using us to speak out against evil and injustice.  It may look like Satan is winning, but God has the final word and will pour out his wrath on those who reject His son.  Then, the true reset will begin when Christ returns for His millennial reign on earth. John 3:36 – “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” II Thessalonians 2:6, 7 – “And you know what restrains him (the man of lawlessness) now, so that in his time he may be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.”
