Pikes Peak is 14,115 feet high in the Rocky Mountains making it one of 53 “fourteeners,” mountain peaks in Colorado above 14,000 feet. It is a popular tourist destination with over 500,000 visitors every year. Popular routes up Pikes Peak include hiking up Barr Trail, driving via the Pikes Peak Highway, or taking a ride up the Broadmoor’s Pikes Peak Cog Railway. For the real adventure-seeker, you could combine the Cog Railway and bike down with Challenge Unlimited- Pikes Peak by Bike. If you choose to drive, as most tourists do, you cannot help but notice the switchbacks (sharp bends) on the narrow road and the numerous steel guardrails at each curve. Why so many guardrails? They are there to keep you and your auto on the road. Guardrails are in place to protect you from going over the edge of the cliff into the cavernous gorge below. Guardrails are a good thing.
Covenant Eyes is like a guardrail in the battle against pornography. Covenant Eyes accountability software is designed to keep you safe as you browse the internet. It won’t keep you from accessing pornography or objectionable websites, but it will report your internet browsing to your accountability partner through a weekly email report.
Covenant Eyes draws its name from Job 31:1, “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully upon a woman.” Will Covenant Eyes make you pure? No, but it is a tool in the toolbox of those who want to live a pure, porn-free life yet still use the internet. Covenant Eyes founder, Ron DeHaas, has given special pricing to anyone connected to our former ministry, National Coalition For Purity, or our current ministry, Hopewell Counseling. By using the discount code, “EMBFP” users will receive a discounted monthly fee. Covenant Eyes is the “Cadillac” of accountability software and highly recommended by Elsie and me. It is a necessity! It should be installed on every internet-connected device at home and, if possible, at work.
Passionate about the purity of the church,
